Nic found the NCS group in August 2023 whilst on holiday in Keswick and joined shortly after. The monthly meetings are on-line which makes a long-distance-membership possible.
Nic has written award winning poetry, short stories, and scripts.
Her short scripts cover topics from Angels to ABBA, via bus queues and ten-pin-bowling. In 2025 she earned a place on the Ink Festival intermediate playwrights workshop. Her plays have been read, script in hand, at Theatre by the Lake with NCS, by No Such Theatre at The Others, Stoke Newington, and by the Eastern Angles in Ipswich.
Nic's story Tapestry was also included in Golden Age Mysteries' first anthology Ten Little Mysteries.
By day Nic is a governance professional and provides administrative support to a literary festival based in Suffolk.
