Nic found the NCS group in August 2023 whilst on holiday and joined shortly after as the monthly meetings were on-line.
She is an emerging writer, finding her voice in creative writing. She has written award winning poetry and short stories.
Nic has two long form scripts. Hailhill Primary is a one-act play for 6 actors set out-of-hours in a primary school and Undercooked is a two-act play for 4 actors exploring themes of premature birth and terminal illness. Nic has written multiple short scripts covering topics from Angels to domestic abuse, via bus queues and ten-pin-bowling. She enjoys the relative immediacy of script writing and the delegation of form to fellow theatre professionals.

By day Nic is a data analyst with research interests in health and social care, and provides administrative support to a local literary festival.
