October 2026 - 10 Ways to Whip up a Wedding
Tash Binder is the next to come to Penrith Player's stage, with a farce revolving around a wedding being organised at a manor house belonging to a well-to-do family who are not as flush as they once were. 


December 2025 - Cinders
After successful performance at Wigton, David Ross' panto, Cinders, is coming to Penrith Players Theatre this December. The classic tale of Cinderella with a twist. 17-20th December.


July 2025 - The Scottish Play
David Ross is on a roll this year! He is directing Penrith Players Juniors in The Scottish Play, a comedy version of Shakespeare's classic tragedy, written by David himself. 18th and 19th July.



June 2023 - Exhibit One: A Yellow Earl

Member Robin Ackland's highly anticipated historical tribute to the 5th Earl of Lonsdale, Hugh Lowther, AKA 'The Yellow Earl', is being put on by Penrith Players at Lowther Castle 9th to 17th June.


May 2023 - Montmorency

Member Tash Binder's feature play debut airs 31st May to 3rd June. An adaptation of a novel by Eleanor Updale, Montmorency is a thief-turned-gentleman making his way in Victorian London. Equal parts thrilling and exciting (not just for Tash as a writer either!)


February 2023 - Cinders

Member David Ross has done it again! This time with a twist on the classic Panto, Cinders is  'Just like the classic, but with a twist' promising to bring music, laughter and Panto magic - playing at Wigton's John Peel theatre 20th to 26th Feb.

January 2023 - The Luvvies

An aspiring West End director has decided to run an amateur dramatics group. A mishmash of wannabe actors answer her advert in the parish newsletter. The scene is set as they embark on a journey, along with a rather grumpy village hall janitor, which finds them performing a parody of The Merchant of Venice penned by an unknown author. As well as laughter, along the way some unpleasant truths emerge. Jan 30th to Feb 4th.
